First we do a rough cleaning, then we disassemble it.
The inside was clean. We’re grateful when it’s in this condition.
The Mikuni BST slide body parts are becoming harder to find. At this point we can get a vague sense of the vehicle’s mileage and usage history.
Physically it doesn’t need to go any further, but we want to think about the future.
We want to check the float valve for stepped wear and the pin operation on the reverse side (with internal spring).
