We install the PAMS main harness, fuse kit, MOSFET regulator, headlight relay, and more.

No matter how you look at it, it won’t fit as-is. Since the unit is bulky, we secure space and fabricate a bracket. The actual fabrication is quick, but the time spent thinking through the layout, interference, and removal and installation takes longer.

We settled on this layout. There’s no worry about nuts falling off, and removal and installation should be easy.
There are other fabricated parts, but I’ll skip those details.

The turn signals use internal grounding. It looks cleaner that way. I considered going with 040 gauge, but there’s no end to that rabbit hole, so we passed.

It’s tight inside the headlight.

Reproduction parts are available, which is great for Z models. Still, there’s no doubt that the entire electrical system could be simpler with fewer wires. I think this is a bike that would have real demand if someone sold a complete solution that accounts for everything from top to bottom.
I haven’t measured the headlight output yet. I’ll make time to check it before pickup.
