We went for inspection—a total of two trips, morning and afternoon!
Morning: R1100
Afternoon: Bandit 1200
So here’s the thing—the R1100 had some weird bulb installed and it was really dim…
Abnormally dim! Since we’ve seen examples from the boss, we installed a PMC headlight booster for the inspection
and headed to the tester shop!
“This is way too dim!” they said. Yeah, it really was dim and totally unacceptable, so we borrowed a modified bulb and went for it ♪
They’re a fantastic tester shop that specializes in professional work!
After confirming the tax payment, we installed the “super quiet baffle” ☆
Off to the line! “Okay, lights”—okay, okay, okay—”Your turn signal area is a bit short.”
No, no, we have it—we measured it.
“No, it’s not enough… Can you do math?” (me)
“It’s plenty!” No, no, no—they just wouldn’t nod vertically…
“Okay, okay, I got it—we’ll fix it.”
Sound level measurement—this one’s at “6000 rpm”!
“That’s definitely wrong! Are you okay in the head?” Well, it’s no problem for us anyway!
95 dB hehehehe—and here’s where it gets tricky ☆
We went to the tester shop but didn’t pass! (Well, it happens) So back to the tester shop we went
Failed again! We checked what was wrong and headed back to the tester shop!
Finally done—phew, what a relief!
Then in the afternoon, when we came back, there was this weird checkpoint thing at the entrance…
“It’s a roadside inspection,” they said. Man, traffic safety week is seriously intense!
I left early and got some good sleep =
This week is busy, so I’m gonna get back to work now!
