Removing it up to this point goes pretty quickly, but removing the bearings from here takes quite a bit of time.
Right, it’s not a place your hands can easily reach, so dirt has accumulated here.
The bearings had plenty of oil, so their condition was excellent.
It looked pretty good. I need to think about how to make removal faster.
We’ll replace them and seal them in with NC100.
We’ll also replace the wheel bearings. The K6 uses bearings with a large inner diameter.
The wheel bearings still had oil in them, which is great.
We’ll fit the seals and assemble them.
Replacing all this really refreshes both the feel and the mechanics.
