I’ve been using the Planar T* 1.4/50 a lot lately, but I keep half-pressing the shutter button out of autofocus habit…
Autofocus really is great. And it works with all the cameras I own, and since it’s not a zoom lens, that’s a plus.

Heavy use of zoom lenses causes dust buildup inside, which hurts resale value. The lens extends so far that filters can’t be attached (though third-party options exist).
The standard choice is 14-24mm, but 15mm might be good too, right? I’ve bumped fish-eyes into things plenty of times…
