Lately, is oil-cooled becoming a clip-on boom?
For some reason, we’re currently getting almost exclusively clip-on bikes in for service—it’s a strange situation.

The corrosion was pretty severe…we had an unusually hard time getting it off…
One bolt is missing.
We opened the top bridge and handlebar clamp and loosen the fork cap first, but…
It was no joke. We finally got it off by extending a 1/2-inch breaker bar with an inner tube.
We had a used cap on hand, so we swapped it in.
We took it apart completely
Quite a nice bit of corrosion
When it’s corroded this badly and grinding like this, there’s not much you can do to improve it.
