The legendary rare bike “ZIPP 2001”
Most examples have been painted over, and since the carbon is made of fiber, stripping it is difficult.
A carbon bare frame is extremely precious.
I’m not selling it, but while organizing, here’s my daydream for the future
The brakes are front and rear “ZIPP genuine carbon cover brakes.”
They’re not light at all, and the installation is just for looks—easy design with elongated holes.
The wheels are “MAVIC IO 700C.”
The fork is “LOTUS 110″—I just had a spare lying around, so I reused it
The rear wheel might be lighter than the GHIBLI?
“USSR-made Kevlar disk wheel.”
The wood-grain look is cool, but the freewheel hub is a drawback
By the way, the frame is 650-sized, and I forget what the beam is.
I think I might like the 650-sized frame because it’s small, thick, and has that snug “squeeze!” feeling.
What about the handlebars?
What about the crankset?
What about the shifters?
What about the pedals?
What about the seat?
And that’s when I get fed up.
