Today was unfortunately cloudy and incredibly humid. I don’t want to keep saying it’s hot, but it really is unbearable.
When I pass by a car repair shop, “Fan only” and… I bet factories everywhere are starting to brag about their indoor temperatures. So we’re going to keep working smoothly like this.
I have plasma boosters installed on all of my personal bikes.
It doesn’t have a dramatic effect, but it’s definitely a part that improves performance. However, when considering cost-effectiveness, “Hmm?” I find myself thinking. But starting performance and idle stability definitely improve I think.
I believe this is a big factor in my bike’s excellent starting performance. Basically, when installing a plasma booster, I make it detachable so you can turn it ON/OFF. Otherwise, it’s hard to tell if it’s really working right? By making it detachable, you can actually feel the effects.
This multi-spark amp’s effect is subtle but quite interesting.
What’s also great about this product is if it fails, it just reverts to normal ignition . In other words, the possibility of trouble is extremely low so it’s a reliable ignition item you can use with confidence.
I don’t want to say too much, but… If it’s full throttle and a carb bike, you can use any brand. Of course, each model has different tuning characteristics.
The evolved version of an amazing item that revolutionized electrical wiring work “D-UNIT WR MINI”
The previous D-UNIT WR seems smaller to me… But lately I can only use this one. Having a mounting boss is a big deal. You can lay it out cleanly like OEM at first glance, and being able to secure it with screws is reassuring.
Thanks to this product, I can easily tap optional power and ground. You should definitely use it whenever you’re working on electrical systems. Products like this are constantly improving day by day. Looking at the early D-UNIT now makes me sad…
I made a plate to secure the electrical components
Bikes from this era have plenty of space inside the fairing, which is helpful. I cut the SUS plate with a shearing machine and secure it firmly with two M6 bolts.
For the dash cam and plasma booster, I don’t bother with anything complicated and just secure them with double-sided and repeat ties.
Just cleaning up the wiring length makes a big difference in the finish
That’s how we completed the wiring for now. Tomorrow I want to install the cameras front and rear and head toward the finish line.
