I’m finally getting to the point where I can stand up, sit down, and repeat half-squats without too much trouble.

I stood the die up and managed to keep it safe!

The damper shows appropriate wear…
For some reason the damper and bolts are out of stock, so I’m holding off on just that part.
It was quite a hardy head cover.
The head cover gasket has a washer inside it.
I think doing the work yourself is a very good thing, but everything comes with risk,
so please don’t rush ahead and think it through carefully★
And this washer sometimes stays on the head.
I protect the area and then tap it with a “clunk!” to remove it,
but I’ve dropped it into the cam chain tunnel twice myself.
Almost always,
it ends up wedged nicely between the crankshaft sprocket and the cam chain.
I remove both cams and the cam chain tunnel plate to perform a rescue operation.
If we can’t find it and the starter won’t turn over,
we’ve received inquiries in the past saying the engine won’t start, so watch out★

No cam scuffing at all
Very nice.
The interior is clean and the cam chain tension is good all the way around,
and the feel when hand-cranking it is good too, so I think it’s in a sweet spot.
The sync was only slightly off.
