The Spacy 100’s headlight is dim…
Well, more like the headlight is large, so it shines wide.
Wouldn’t it be better to cut the lens a bit to narrow it down?
What’s the actual luminous intensity? I’d like to align the light axis if I can,
but there’s only up and down adjustment…
First, I need to get it straight so I can see the true luminous intensity,
so I’m doing whatever I can.
Even when I rev it up with a “vroom,” it’s only 7,000 cd.
When I lower the RPMs, it’s unmeasurable and dim with flickering.
Even on the LOW side alone, with a direct battery connection it runs strong
This is temporary… The reason is that this headlight area is strange somehow.
It’s such an impossible phenomenon that I won’t write about it, but it’s completely baffling. I need a wiring diagram.
So I had no choice but to temporarily take the relay switch power from the main ON 12V point!
The flickering is completely gone and it’s bright. Crisp even at idle.
It only reached 10,000 cd,
but regardless of whether the RPMs go down or up,
there’s barely any change in cd, so it’s very good.
Next time I’ll try a set with an H4 and relay.
Though I’ll need to measure power consumption too.
