So I’ve been saying since July,
but I’m already out today as a test run.
I needed several things for work.
• Kids’ rug
• Large towel for motorcycle storage
• Extra bath towels for work
• Storage boxes for removed and stored parts
• Small work rug
There were other things too,
but I forgot my IKEA card today, so there were several items I couldn’t buy at the member price.
I’m being a bit stingy about that, so I’ll get them next time.
This time I got a rug that’s a bit bigger than the ones I’ve had before ★
I place removed fairings and such on the rug.
With this much space, I can even fit a seat on it, so it works great.
Since it’s for kids, it’s lighter than a regular rug.
Of course it’s much heavier and thicker than a towel.
Bath towels are essential ★
I drape them over customers’ bikes while working,
so fresh ones feel better than my worn-out ones at home.
This time
I also added new colors—yellow, purple, and striped.
The kids’ rug in front has a really nice feel, is lightweight, and works great.
The usual kids’ storage boxes.
If I store removed or borrowed parts in cardboard boxes,
they look bad, so I try not to use them ★
Even though overseas cardboard boxes look cool…
Going to IKEA takes a lot of time…
The thing is, “decent stuff at reasonable prices,” but you have to think it through carefully before buying,
or affordable items quickly become trash.
It’s like: oh, it’s cheap → buy it → oops, can’t use it → trash.
In the end, it’s just wasteful spending, and when it’s big, it’s a pain to throw away, so think it through:
“Do I really need this? Is it necessary?” If you’re unsure, don’t buy it!
