Bandit 1200 K6 Decoboco Maintenance

It’s been nice and warm lately.
We’ve been getting a ton of calls and emails, but let’s take it slow—nice and easy.
So
 

 
The K6 has been multiplying like crazy lately, but it’s already a six-year-old bike.
 

 
The carburetor hasn’t been removed once since it left the factory, and it’s pretty crusty.
 

 
The control cables come back to life with just a little cleaning and lubrication.
 

 
Every time I think about it—I always end up using too much Loctite★ instead of just lubrication.
 

 
Pretty much no oil residue.
 

 
Oh wow, found something here—a 20mm diameter bushing★. Lucky!
 

 
Time-wise, I’ll start from the rear.
 

 
Lots of rattling going on.
