Inherited double-ended grinder

I got a double-ended grinder that was passed down from the press shop next to Aiyama’s place.
 

 
I gave it a thorough cleaning first,
I don’t like to touch tools unless they’re clean.
I hadn’t bothered to get a double-ended grinder before since I didn’t really need one,
but without the grinding wheels,
if I could do “buffing on one side and deburring/pre-weld polishing on the other”—
I wondered if there was a bigger Scotch-Brite pad?

5,489 yen for this kind of consumable—that’s pretty pricey.
I thought maybe I’d just do it by hand instead,
but it’s amazing! ★ Why didn’t I know about this before!
