I wrote N the other day, but the pre-cob is actually this “M” model, you know!
I’m not really that knowledgeable about year models and frame types and all that!
So here we go
The engine damper wear looks gentle and nice ★ Of course, we swapped it for the later model version and it’s sweet!
The generator damper is a bit stiff, but there’s minimal play and it looked good overall.
Of course we replaced it too
The steering damper bracket was stuck and gave us a hard time, but we managed to get it off cleanly!
The final model 1-1 type is so prone to seizing that I’ve never seen one that hasn’t—yet this one with 40,000 kilometers and barely any maintenance has zero seizing
It’s a beautiful thing…
