Walk-In Single Episode

We hardly ever get walk-in customers at our shop throughout the year.
When they do come, it’s usually because of trouble.
The cause is always no maintenance.
The phone rang first thing in the morning.
“My bike broke down,” they said.
When I asked what bike it was, they said “An SR400.”
SR400s and TW225s and bikes like that are really sketchy, so I kind of wanted to turn them down.
But the person was so humble in the way they spoke that I decided to take it on.

The rear axle nut turns by hand.
The broken chain guide got sheet metal work and welded back together—done.
Riding this thing takes special skills.
