GSX-R750 Mini Maintenance and Starting Trouble

So here we have a GSX-R750.
 

 
It came in on a flatbed from Kachikachi Mountain with the starter not turning over.
A weak battery can cause that, or a weak starter relay.
I checked to make sure power was getting through properly from the kill switch to the starter switch to the starter relay to the starter motor.
I looked at the contacts too.
Yeah, it’s definitely smelling like the starter motor.
There was a working donor carcass out front, so we got the OK to use it. Parts are free!
 

 
Moving on to mini maintenance. It’s super dirty…
 

 
Ugh! I wiped down just the entrance…
 

 
There’s no oil residue, so I polished it and then lubed it up.
 

 
While I was at it with the clutch, the lever nut was missing!
 

 
The sync was all out too.
 

 
Feels great now!
 

 
I went ahead and replaced the spark plugs too…
There’s so much that needs doing, so I’ll call it good here.
All done!
