Well, I wandered around for the first time in a while ★
Thought I’d grab a bite to eat somewhere
Headed to a standing sushi bar
Thinking, yeah, sushi’s the thing on a hot day like this ★
There’s a nice peace of mind being able to see the bike from the shop.
With disc brakes front and rear, I can only lock it to the frame
And it’d be rough if the wheels got damaged
Just as I was thinking about going inside, the sushi shop guy is staring at me from inside…
“Huh? Can’t I leave it here? But I’m gonna eat anyway… ah, whatever~”
I go inside
The hall guy says, “That’s a cool bike ♪”
Me: “Ah, thanks thanks ★”
The hall guy then says to the sushi chef, “Hey, look at that, look~”
Sushi chef: “What is that thing?!” “That’s gotta be a race bike!” “That’s incredible!”
So all the customers look outside, right.
And then they all look back at me.
I was so embarrassed
Both the sushi chef and the hall guy are like, “How much is that thing? Like 300,000 yen? Huh? Huh?”
“Well, I built it from parts, so I’m not really sure~?” I dodged the question
And I left the shop like I was running away ★
