SB 3: Carburettor Part 2

 

 
So here’s the sequel.
I was confused about sourcing parts
and the parts that arrived were wrong
so I was in a real bind.
In the end, I measured the O-ring parts and repurposed carburettor ones
but I was stuck with a float gasket that just wouldn’t work no matter what
Should I search for one? Or make one?
I had some business to do anyway, so I stopped by Togashi’s place and then visited T-san
“Do you happen to have gasket paper?”
What thickness? And you have that much in stock? ★
Starting from 0.1 mm, they had several different thicknesses
I just bought 0.5 and 0.8 mm for now
and I’ve been carefully cutting them at the shop.
It’s good that I have a gasket punch, or it would have been a hassle…
The leak stopped completely and I finished measuring the actual fuel level.
I’m starving!
