Since I couldn’t go out today,
I want to make tonight delicious.
I really wanted to dig into some hearty pasta or pizza,
with tomato and basil to make it fresh and light…
I’m not sure how it turned into offal, though…
Anyway, here’s “Manten” in Nakameguro.
This restaurant was recommended to me by EYE Yamasan before.
It’s really delicious.
What I ate today was
raw white tripe skewers and liver steak.
When I’m taking photos, I’ve been noticing lately how thoughtful the restaurant staff is ☆
I’m not sure if it’s a service or what,
but they asked me, “Would you like to try a rare skewer?” so I said yes please.
Something on a spoon! It goes down smooth,
but it tastes kind of like oyster~ (that’s the third photo)
What is this anyway?
“Pork brain,” they said!
Maybe it’s because it’s so fresh, or because it’s Manten.
Then I had the eight-piece platter,
and a couple of beers and I was done!
I’ll do my best again starting tomorrow!
