When the rain keeps coming, work really moves along.
Fewer phone calls and no vendors stopping by.
Once the work is done and the rain stops, I head home.
Which means I get to leave earlier than usual.
I started throwing things out.
Stuff piles up—I think I might use it again, or I could use it for packing, or maybe I’ll look at it someday.
I tossed it all. Now the place feels lighter.
Then I spotted a racing stand in the closet.
Something I received from someone before.
He got it directly from Moriwaki himself.
It looks similar to the NK4 stand back then.
It also resembles the Moriwaki Monster stand, which is why I had a hunch about it.
But given the height—it’s for 18-inch wheels—I’ve decided to believe it’s the real deal.
Finding something like this in the closet—maybe the first time I’ve pulled it out.
