I’d really like you to do at least the minimum preparation.
If it’s just you, that’s one thing, but a tour is a group activity—it’s not just your own time.
You end up causing trouble for other people’s days off.
If a problem happens even after you’ve checked, well, that’s just how it goes.
Minimum checklist
1) Tire pressure check (and check for punctures too ♪)
2) Chain adjustment and related checks
3) Engine oil level and related checks
4) Brake pad wear
5) Check anything that would be bad if loose (mainly controls and brakes)

Since the GS1000S is something I worry about, this time we’re doing an oil change and carburettor adjustment.
We do that after the work, so the bikes we have in are running properly ★
