Super Magnum Stack 5 Butterfly Samurai
I saw a gashapon machine with that name a long time ago.
Some gashapon machines have a sketchy feel to them, and they’re clearly packed with knockoffs and counterfeit items.
When I was a kid, Biglyman chocolate was all the rage, and somehow there were knockoff shiny stickers inside.
The pictures and the descriptions on the back were identical!
The only difference was… Lotte became Lotche.
And “Super Magnum Stack 5 Butterfly Samurai” had a picture of a yankee on it.
Inside the gashapon machine, I think there were little nunchaku and knives and stuff.
Of course, I didn’t have money to buy that kind of thing.
There was this bad kid who said “We can get infinite gashapon with this!” and I ran into a whole different culture of people.
When I followed them, we could get infinite gashapon!
We stuffed as much as we could into bags and ran away—I remember that.
Isn’t that wrong? It just came out on its own, so what could we do about it…
Huh? I guess that’s how it was.
Those were the days of the Showa era, and everything felt like it was still under development.
There were stray dogs around too. Hard to believe that now.
