The other day, by canceling the secondary air, we achieved several benefits.
1) Response improved noticeably
2) Reduction in the unpleasant “chop-chop-chop” sound at very low-speed partial throttle while riding
3) Improved cold-start engine performance.
We’re still in the testing phase and information is sparse, but just capping it off brings about this much change and also reduces weight,
which is fantastic.
Next, I’d like to see how things progress with chassis dyno and carburetor tuning in the current state, and also run an exhaust CO test.
That’s what I want to do.
