This is the D1 belonging to Mr. M, who we always appreciate at our year-end party.
It’s completely stock and he takes great care of it.
He’s never adjusted the tappets before, so it’s definitely worth checking out at least once.
These older bikes can get seriously out of spec, so you have to be careful.
As it turned out, four shims didn’t fit, we didn’t have them in stock, so we took it in for work, the space was tight, and things got complicated.
