It easily gains about 10 hp. But I don’t really recommend it.
Because it’s very bad for the head. No matter how much ram air or power filter you add, it can’t match the stock box &
filter.
The valve opens and closes while sucking dust from the air, and the engine runs while ingesting that dust and debris.
That’s why the valve and seat get marks like sesame seeds. Of course, the head starts to leak.
You want solid compression, but it goes “pshhh” and blows back. No wonder the punch disappears.
Why do you think I’m swapping carburetors?
