Got it installed for now!
Installation is a bit of a hassle since you have to shift the tire out of the way.
The annoying part is that you need two 11mm wrenches, and one has to be thin to lock it properly, so I ended up filing it down.
I modified the tool, but I bet you could find something like this for bicycles if you looked around.
And if you tighten this 11mm nut too hard, the rubber gasket gets crushed too much, so the fit isn’t really ideal.
I prefer the Brembo style with a flange and O-ring seal.
It might be unavoidable due to the design, but since the valve is straight, it’s a bit hard to add air. ★
And that completes the wheel installation.
As for wheel balance issues, there wasn’t much change.
Now let’s power up the unit and get started. ★
I’ll configure the settings: 1. Pressure unit: psi–kpa–kgf/cm². 2. Temperature unit: °C–°F.
3. High-side pressure warning. 4. Low-side pressure warning. 5. Temperature warning.
For the pressure unit in KPA, it increments in steps of 007, and in kgf/cm² it increments in steps of 0.05.
It doesn’t change in steps of 001 or 0.01.
Settings are done, so now… huh? It’s not working.
What’s this? I checked the manual and it can take up to 5 minutes for front and rear to receive… oh boy.
It’s not receiving at all. It really does take about 5 minutes.
I haven’t test ridden it today, so I can’t say much, but let me try it out and report back.
