Today I was installing a fender and an AS Watanabe ignition system.
The fender wouldn’t fit at all, so I ground away at it aggressively.
You’ve got to tighten the fender snugly without putting stress on the fork!
All snug and installed! ☆
Next up is the AS Watanabe. Nothing special about it, really, but plugging in the cord is a pain!
I was thinking it was a drag, but then I came up with a clever idea and—boom! Amazing!
This time the plug cap is a “Spirit Fire.” I looked for one with a black cap.
I’m not sure if this is exactly right, but it works—it’s got about a 100-degree angle on it.
I’ve never been a fan of straight plug caps; I prefer the angled kind.
The cord is blue, so I covered it with heat-shrink tubing and we’re done!
All clean and sharp!
