A title like this? Might as well just wing it.
I could’ve twisted my brain trying to come up with something clever, but what’s the point?
Finally got MJ’s bike done—feels like a good stopping point. But you know how it is; finish one and you’re already itching to start the next.
The boss’s 1200 SS engine is sitting around too, so I’ll tear into that when I get a spare moment.
Mine’s going to get an R1100 engine swap—that’s the plan.
Chain’s obviously Yoshimura, pistons are stock oversized and honed, carburettor stays stock!
Keeping costs down—budget build all the way! Fresh bearings for the transmission, then it’s just a matter of matching the metal.
Gotta do it right, get the head sorted with a proper seat cut, match the valve lengths, and—ugh, this is getting complicated.
When am I actually going to do all this?
Ha! But it’s nice to have the headspace to think about this stuff. Hope things don’t get crazy again before September 3rd…
Plus there’s all the work that piled up over Obon. Yikes.
I’d love to get out to Fuji—haven’t ridden in forever, haven’t checked out that weird bike glitch, and I haven’t played mahjong in ages.
It’s scorching out there!
