Today’s weather is iffy—strong winds and all. But I want to ride before the rainy season starts!
So three of us showed up: me, M-Shima, and Ogi.
Ogi was out for his first run today. Now for the session… the wind is fierce!
Getting blown around… I’m getting pushed at turn one on the exit, and again at the 100R.
The 100R especially feels like it’s trying to carry me off the track, so I’m being careful.
Same thing at the 300R… With fewer bikes out there, it’s actually pretty fun.
After a couple of warm-up laps, it’s time for the real thing! This is my second session since my crash—last time the engine cut out completely.
This time it’s better than before, but for some reason there’s this “whoosh” and it’s running a bit rough. Something’s off.
It feels like air is getting in from somewhere. Next time I’m going to replace the whole box with a new one.
