Catching Reptiles or Something

Oh! Once in a while I head home early, grab dinner, and just hang out…
There are tons of geckos along the promenade in Nakameguro…
Today’s a challenge to see how many I can catch.
I caught 14 of them… wandering along the promenade with a plastic bag
To be honest, I look pretty suspicious.
I caught so many that they started fighting inside the bag and some lost their tails…
The gecko’s name comes from the characters for “house guardian” (家守), so they’re supposed to bring good luck.
I released about five of them at home… they’re perfect for pest control
