I love the stock muffler.
A factory silencer in such pristine condition is pretty rare, I’d say.
The bodywork has minimal damage too—it’s in great shape.
Quick work ahead—oil-cooled maintenance is what we do! (*^-^*)

At our shop’s level, we keep parts in stock for both 750 and 1100 models at all times.
We can respond quickly. *Though we won’t do it if you ask on short notice…

I applied gun coat to the head cover bolts. (^_-)-☆

For those who can’t remove the head cover—must see.
Tap the center area of the cam plugs four times to drop them inside.
With this release force, you should be able to remove the head cover without forcing it.

Overall, it was in excellent condition. The inside of the head was super clean too! (‘ω’)ノ
The valve clearances showed no major deviation. Everything has been adjusted to spec.

The plugs have some soot around the edges.

I cleaned up around the generator and starter motor too.

I replaced the starter motor O-ring and damper.
The generator damper wasn’t too worn.

I gave it a light polish with a stainless steel brush. (^_-)-☆

The damper showed little wear but had hardened.
The damper bolt was stuck, so we had a bit of a struggle.

Why does the GSX-R750RK have gaskets on all the pulser cover bolts? Mystery!

All five are sealed—meaning no oil leaks.
Probably they wanted a wider seating surface?
An endoscope is super handy to have.
You can see inside narrow holes, and today it helped diagnose a possible fuel leak without removing the bodywork.
You save the hassle of taking off and putting back the fairings, and you get instant answers on the spot.
The one I use is a bit old, but
Anykit 5 inch Fiber Scope Dual Lens
When choosing one, go for dual lens and a thin lens (this one is 5.5φ) for flexibility. (*^-^*)

I synchronized the carburetors.
After that, it’s just a test ride and we’re done! (*^-^*)
Good maintenance really is the way… maintenance is…
There’s no time for fabrication or customization…
