Yesterday I had an unexpected encounter. I went to Mr. Craft in Ebisu to buy some bond.
It was before 7 p.m., the wind was strong and it was freezing cold. I bought an epoxy bond called “super strength”
and wandered around the shop. I have absolutely no interest in plastic models or anything like that—I honestly don’t understand what’s fun about such a tedious hobby
(sorry to those who like it!). Anyway, I was looking at various bonds and miniature tools (for plastic models)
and kept going down to the first floor. This place had all sorts of things like figurines, and I was just wandering around going “hmm”
when suddenly something caught my eye—a “Knuckle Bear”!
Of course I didn’t know its name, and I was like “what the heck is this?” It looked cool… hmm? Hmm? I wandered around for about thirty minutes
and ended up not buying it. It’s not useful for anything, so I didn’t need it!—or so I thought as I left, but it’s been bugging me ever since…
I searched online and found out it’s actually quite famous! Hmm?? I want it, but I’d never use it…
