I ended up watching a movie for the first time in a while★
It’s called “How to Eat Life”…
It’s a film about the food we eat every day, showing how it was originally living creatures and how it transforms into food.
It covers plant cultivation, birds, pigs, cattle, and fish. Without subtitles, it matter-of-factly documents how they are mass-produced, broken down, and processed
in a mechanical way.
While the runtime is short and there’s nothing particularly shocking, I was struck by how incredibly efficient the production and transformation into food
has become in the 21st century.
If you’re interested, please check it out.
I even ended up buying the book too… and now I’ll enjoy this on a long winter night~
