From there, I headed to Naps to pick up an ETC unit with a coupon I got the other day.
The Setagaya store was closed—ugh, seriously?
Well, that’s no good. I had no choice but to go to Kohoku instead.
They said it would be a 90-minute wait. With time to kill, I decided to grab a bite somewhere.
Since I came on the GS, I don’t want to go anywhere I can’t see it. And wouldn’t you know it—McDonald’s!
They didn’t have the Mega whatever, so I ordered a Big Mac set and a chocolate pie.
Nothing special about it—meager fare, I thought, gazing out at the road while I ate.
Hmm, I thought, staring at the Big Mac for a moment…
Sure, you can’t taste the meat, and you can’t tell what you’re eating, but I realized it’s actually well thought out.
If it’s junk food, then commit to being junk food—without using fancy ingredients, to be able to make this many with such precision is pretty impressive.
The size of the meat relative to the top and bottom buns, the size of the cheese and vegetables—it’s all been researched to get it just right.
That’s what I figured, getting all worked up about it on my own.
But the coffee was shockingly bad.
Naps called, and it only took five minutes to show them the vehicle… I still don’t understand why I have to wait over an hour every time for just this.
It’s a mystery.
A younger mechanic gave me a long explanation and we were done.
Put it in some weird Yoshimura container and… that’s ¥4,725.
This cheap container? I wouldn’t take it even for free.
And I got the coupon, but apparently I need proof of transfer on the back, so I have to go back again…
I’ll take it to Naps on the Forza by the deadline of 3/15…
They were saying something about drilling holes if I use the GS, and I definitely don’t want that.
