Well then… “Today! Final day—beef is on special!” Once I get going, work moves fast! I wonder why it always takes so long to get started? I think about it every day (*´ω`*)
Vehicle: SUZUKI GSX750E (nicknamed: Beko / Cow) Main work
Front fork overhaul: The inner tubes had surface rust pitting, so we sent them to a specialist for **re-plating** to restore them.
Inspection maintenance: Complete fluid change including engine oil and brake fluid.
Other: Greasing and adjustment of all components.
Takeaway: Don’t fear discontinued parts! Rusty inner tubes can be restored to better-than-new shine and precision through re-plating.

I’m getting used to the Sodegaura inspection center.
We’re always fully prepared, so we wrap it up quickly and head back to the shop. I’m constantly exploring various shortcuts and alternate routes
“Showa Street / Heisei Street / Momoki Street” and I’ve discovered that using them can save nearly 10 minutes.
With no wind and December approaching, the weather feels like autumn—very pleasant. Is this a Chiba thing?
Let me take a lap first.
Right after getting back from inspection, I had a dentist appointment, so the schedule was tight!
Before lunch, I took it around my usual route for a test ride. Huh? Was it like this? It feels heavy overall, and that nice feeling is faint. I hadn’t adjusted it since switching to Series 7.
I dug through past data. I found all the notes from when I was deep into tuning and read through them all.
The key is understanding which numbers and directions make a difference. Hmm, let me see… I adjusted the settings while reading.
On the first try, it immediately got that crisp sound—pom pom! The test ride felt good; it could stay like this, but I’ll try one more adjustment to dial it in. It got even better, and I want to deliver it in this state.
It starts smoothly from idle, revs cleanly, and the partial throttle and downshift engagement are excellent—it’ll be fun to ride.
The brake fluid is Golden Cruiser
I’d like to change it every two years (*´ω`*). After that, I’ll make the invoice and we’re done.
Title: Maintenance Log: SUZUKI GSX750E “Beko” (Baby Katana/Cow). Key Restoration: Front Fork Overhaul with Re-plating.
Problem: The inner tubes were pitted with rust, causing seal leaks.
Solution: Instead of replacing them (parts are scarce), the inner tubes were sent for Hard Chrome Re-plating to restore the surface to better-than-new condition. Other Work: Full vehicle inspection (Shaken), engine oil change, and brake fluid renewal.
