Heading to Ikebukuro
But first—I really want to ride the C40, so I need to gather some parts.
Since there’s a Joshuoya in Ikebukuro, I stopped by to pick up some shrink-wrap grips.
I thought I’d also grab a tire and chain at Y’s, but—
They barely had anything in stock, so that was a letdown.
We took a break at Sunshine City, had some tea, and waited until the planetarium opened.
Just the kind of cake you’d find at a supermarket.
I accidentally headed toward the observation deck again—oops.
Well, we got to see the starry sky just fine. The stars are beautiful when you can see them 360 degrees around.
Modern planetariums really are amazing.
We headed back to Nakameguro and heard there’s a COLNAGO SHOP at BALS, so we stopped by on a whim.
Wow! There was a C35 on display.
There was also a frame that looked like a Master Olympic, with all three main tubes made of Master tubing.
And so on.
It was quite a hot day!
