Since we need to do a structural modification on the Katana, we’re heading to Shinagawa.
While we’re at it, let’s get the renewal done too—it’s raining anyway.
When we got to Shinagawa, they told us, “Kei cars aren’t handled here!”
How embarrassing★
We went to the counter to submit the structural modification application.
“What’s this for? Why is the engine being re-stamped by official authority? And why wasn’t the weight measured front and rear?”
When they asked, “What’s this 10 kilos in the back?” I didn’t know what to say…
Beats me.
I’ll send the details by email… The application was rejected for incomplete documentation.
The kei car center was nearby and it was still 11:30, so we headed to our friend Yamamoto’s shop to grab some McDonald’s, which they say is good for your health.
We brought it as a gift and hung out…
When it was time, we went to the kei car center and successfully completed the renewal inspection★
A kei car is faster than a Sunny Truck… and roomier too…
I felt incredibly sad about that…
