I’ve been tinkering with bicycles★
Ideally I wouldn’t want to do anything this week, but…
That’s not how it works.
I have a lot of bicycles, but they’re all temporary builds, so I can’t take them far.
So I’m going to get each one in proper shape.

Today it’s the “CORIMA FOX”
Basically I set all the front sprockets to single speed.
I’m not a big fan of front derailleurs, and riding on a track is a hassle anyway…
I made a shifter and wire anchor that can be fixed with TIG welding as practice.
The finish is the same as always…sad
Next I’ll make a guide so the chain doesn’t slip off the inside.
Since it’s just human power, do we really need a Polypenco band?
I used some decent Delrin and fixed it with clips top and bottom so it rotates★
So it won’t drop off the inside. Though it does run pretty angled…
The carbon sprocket teeth are chipped…probably from the angled run.
I’ll order a new one.
The rear freewheel was making a terrible “jar” noise, so I took it apart and cleaned it
When I reassembled it, it was heavy, so I checked and found…
The O-ring on the outer edge of the freewheel had stretched and was dragging.
After reassembly it spins very quietly and smoothly.
