Something good happened.
Paper came out★ on the chain line.
Either way, I’ll have to remove the rear again.
Replaced the rubber pieces under the tank. Only the front was installed, so it’s all buzzy.
The upper seal of the stem bearing had a K/L part installed, so I’m switching it to a J version.
There’s unnecessarily a lot of lip, so I’ll roughly cut it to slightly improve steering action★
I’ll also reduce the inner lip a bit. Not for people who play in the mud.
Hose clamp used on later Bandits—plastic and lightweight, can be bolted on.
Replacement is easy.
