Fastener installation that was left halfway through. Or rather, cowl installation.
Last time we stopped after installing the upper section.

We bent the stainless steel round bar used for joining at 90-90 degrees. This is a sneaky strategy of cutting it up and connecting the pieces.
After repeated additions and extensions, it ended up with an artistic shape.
It felt a bit flimsy, so we added some reinforcement.
In the end we drilled a hole in the cowl. We should also think about which direction to orient the D of this fastener for easier use.
We made an ordinary sheet metal piece.
Since there’s nowhere to attach it, we relocated it next to the cooler.
It’s surprisingly tight, which is perfect. We spent a night wondering what to do about the mirror and found an amazing part, so we’ll get to that another day.
We routed the oil temperature sensor by modifying a head cover bolt.
For now we’ve wired it up to this point. Various parts are on order.
