The fork is leaking all over the place★ Given the rust on the inner tubes, it can’t be helped. We’ll reassemble it with the gentler side facing forward.
The inside is blackened too★
The inner tube area isn’t too bad either, so we’ll orient the gentler side forward when reassembling.
The tire is a Bridgestone 023… what was it again? Well, one of the newer ones, 120/70-18
They make sizes like this too.
Cleaned the caliper and it’s sparkling★
The mindset is “maintain it so the next person who services it won’t have a hard time.”
