Early in the month, a rainy Sunday with nobody around
Organizing invoices, billing, quotes, orders, checking delivery dates—
nothing too serious, really.
I haven’t been showing my own bike much love.
It had turned into a mountain of dust, so I gave all the bikes a quick wipe-down.
It’s turned kind of an ivory color.
I checked the registration and found out I bought it when I was 22.
That’s a long time ago.
I want to get it completely clean one day.

Of course, I can swap them around by hand—Campagnolo to Campagnolo, Dymag to Dymag.
Air-cooled engines from this era are sculptural.
Of course, there’s no “C” on the license plate.
