The Impulse 400 cowl stay is pretty useful?
If the headlight is 180φ, it should work for most.
*Modification required though…
Basically, I’m lazy, so I don’t want to custom-fab a cowl stay, not even for my own bike.
Using something as a base makes the finish faster and there are fewer mistakes.
And if there’s a crash, recovery should be quicker (・´з`・)
Push and pull. Wondering what kind of force is applied (*´з`)
Wind from the front applies mainly a pushing force.
When that kind of force keeps acting on it, thinking about not moving or loosening—it should actually be possible to mount it simply with minimal mounting.

The Impulse cowl stay was discontinued quite a while ago. I’ve found repro parts, but I haven’t tested them so I can’t strongly recommend them, but they might be good as a base.
I’m the type who grows feet (・´з`・)
The positioning is flexible, and by changing the feet, you can theoretically mount different cowls.

Lower side ×1, I extend the stay and use it.
The cowl is cracked, but bear with me (it’s from an old crash left as-is (・´з`・)
If you want to tilt the cowl a bit or make it horizontal, you have recovery options.
Ah~ that’s not quite what I wanted—design dissatisfaction can happen later.
Keeping it always ready for recovery and flavor changes is the safe bet (・´з`・)
Even when removed, it looks subtle.
Simple design means the remaining stay doesn’t look bad.
BIMOTA-type bikes are really designed, you know. You can enjoy the clean look with the cowl off too. That might be the real charm of a naked bike.
