We don’t do tire changes very often, but we do stock some of the smaller items.
Air valves get replaced every time
We check for runout and heavy spots.
You can see the air valve area isn’t heavy.
There’s no way to check the actual light spot on the tire itself,
so we align the heavy spot on the wheel with the tire’s light spot mark when assembling, and it came to 15 grams.
That’s really all there is to it—nothing special. We got it 25 grams lighter
The bearings appear to have been replaced, but they still have that vintage feel.
They’re good to use.
