ZRX400 Flat-Rate Motorcycle Inspection and Inverted

Well, well!
What a peaceful Obon holiday, and we’re grateful for it

It’s better to avoid mounting the STACK meter directly to the panel

This time we don’t reuse it much, but we do use it
Bending it for a face pad and shrinking, or slipping the OEM rubber in like a sock might be good

Is the STACK nipple switch an identity thing?
It comes with it, so we end up installing it every time, but…
Honestly it’s unnecessary—just the initial cylinder count setting and shift lamp setting
You can also set this configuration switch to do flashing.
Every time, we make sure it’s a floating secure setup!

You could take the speed pulse from the wheel as a shortcut, but…
When taking it from the wheel, I notice…
If taking it from the front:
It strokes, so you have to account for that—the appearance isn’t great
If taking it from the rear:
The wiring is long—you have to mount it in a place (support) where the position doesn’t change when adjusting the chain—wheel removal becomes a hassle
Plus, with fewer pulses, missing a single pulse is pretty significant, I’d say
I think a wiring layout that doesn’t get in the way even with front and rear maintenance is really nice.
The laser turns out to be surprisingly useful

Wow
We’ve been dealing with wiring a lot lately…
If you just close it up without paying attention, something might happen later, so we fix it when we notice

The branching varies so much depending on the manufacturer
This method takes up a bit too much space, so it’s not my preference.
Once the wiring is done, we finish up with muffler work at Aiyaman.
