Fed up with storing long materials like tubing and wiring

What a mess—just putting it in a box and separating it is better than nothing, but…
There’s a lot of wasted space inside the box.
Some box I bought yesterday at Muji while I was thinking it over
Measured it, drilled holes, and made a center collar
It closes perfectly, but the center collar’s outer diameter is too large, so it’s a no-go
Used pipe to make something “small” with a “hollow” center
I made it, and well, “it works pretty well”
It fits really nicely ★
Drawbacks
• Winding it is a hassle
• Can only wind about 3 meters… (I basically buy heat shrink tubing in 10 meter or 5 meter rolls.)
Well, it’s so-so. Not thrilling enough, which is disappointing.
