The GPZ900R somehow feels nostalgic. I’ve noticed it’s been on a declining trend lately, yet the sales numbers were never small to begin with.
So this time we have an inspection, Deco-mainte, and some repair and replacement work requested.

It’s 17 inches, so we’re using a 17-inch sidestand, but it stands up incredibly high. It’s getting into scary territory.

We decided that modifying the aftermarket stand would be better.

This is the final form, but the process goes: cut → attach → check → cut → attach → check → cut → attach → check.
After that we did some spot welding and that’s about it—short and sweet.
About 15 degrees. A safe angle now.
