It’s almost complete! The wiring layout takes time, you know.
This is the switch bracket. I welded a counterbore collar to the back of the bracket, and it sits flush with a nice recessed feel. Is the right side where you plug in earbuds?
I welded an L-bracket to the hose clamp so it can be repositioned.
I mounted it in a position where you can operate it while riding.
Sorry about the rough scribe marks. This is the bracket for mounting the headlight relay, but I did a little customization.
I don’t like nuts in positions where they fall off easily, so welding them makes removal and installation easier. It’s effective for shared fastening points and improves convenience.
I cut a V-groove into the edge to create a catch point. Since I’ll be securing it with cable ties, this prevents it from sliding off.
I routed it through the connector groove, so while it’s a simple fix, it’s solid.
I think the appearance and serviceability really change depending on whether small parts like this are secured or not.
I consolidated everything to the left side on my own, but I think it improves operability and makes removal and installation easier. All that’s left is to get the position bulbs and we’re done.
There are no photos, but I’m using the mirror mount, and since there’s a damper inside, I think it’s effective for vibration resistance.
