We’ll continue working on the Z1.

The owner requested that we check the master as well. It makes sense—the owner was picking up on something off about it.

It turns out it’s been changed to one that works with dual calipers, so we’ve already arranged for it. We’ll do the air bleeding and so on later.

We’ll replace the rear wheel bearing.

We need to check the distance collar carefully.

It’s extended quite sharply. It looks like it was tack-welded and then machined, so the surface came out fine.

We chose a steel sprocket. Since this is from that era, it uses lock washers, so we’ll lock-nut it.
The seal is NOK.

I’m jumping ahead a bit, but we also replaced the swingarm bearing. The stepped collar for insertion lets us seat it properly.
