
Today we’ll perform oil-cooled maintenance.

The engine damper is in good condition with no severe wear.

The damper shows some hardening and wear, but it’s not in bad condition.

The generator connector is in good shape. I didn’t know this style existed either…

There’s some light scuffing. The 1-1 type M/N is a common symptom.

The cam chain shouldn’t need any adjustment.

I appreciate this thoughtful design on the OEM part. It has a flange to prevent it from falling off during gasket installation.
As you can see from the flange, anyone can figure out the correct installation direction.

Finally the engine started, and now we’ll synchronize the carburetors.

Now we’re good to go. We’ll bring it in for inspection tomorrow and we’ll be done. Sorry for the wait.
